A very, very good wine. Exceptional minerality with this Cailleret—the limestone is showing every which way. Enveloping notes of dark cherry, mushroom and nutmeg after an initial reductive nose blows off. Pretty balance of raciness and some lushness here, only improving over a couple of hours. Long, long mineral finish. Impressive.
