This wine had a red/purple center and orange rims. The medium+ intensity nose displayed ripe cherries, soil, and some spices. In the mouth it was reasonably well balanced in a mature, light-weight manner.decanted before the tasting; pale, bright red color; intense and complex red and black berries, violets and truffle; medium body; surprisingly smooth and round texture
