Elegant, silky, light on its feet, precise and intense, Boal-like acidity, very mildly woodsy, dried red fruits, orange, white nuts, honey and vanilla, hint of coffee bean, salty finish with a hint of cold tea and excellent drive and length. Very harmonious and - dare I say it - drinkable. A wine from another era, that has today come to an end. We have slipped our last mooring in the 20th century, for better or for worse. God speed, all ye whose century is the 21st.
